JORDI VALLDAURA

My name is Jordi Valldaura Mateu. I'm photographer and graphic designer. I'm part of N Y T T studio, based in Igualada (Barcelona). I’ve been working as a designer since I finished my university studies of graphic design 13 years ago. In addition to that, I’ve taken some courses of photography and lighting. Photography was always present in whatever I did since I was a child. I think my first "click" was when I was about 7 years old, my parents gave me a 35mm film camera, a Werlisa Club Color. I still have it. I remember going everywhere always with this camera hanging on my neck as my father was giving me some basic tips about photography. Then my grandfather (a great amateur film maker) gave me an automatic Olympus 35mm film camera, it was great! But I wasn’t satisfied at all, my father’s SLR looked better, and I wanted to have one like him… So I think this was the start. In 2007 another graphic designer, Joan Carles, and I became business partners and together we established our own studio called NYTT, since then I’ve begun to be involved in profesional photography more and more.
